Banti Buli means "Have a Banti Sleep" or "Sleep on the peak" in Afaan Oromoo, depending on how you jumble the words. It is a story-based song project by Banti Gheneti, who routinely wraps stories in rich layered soundscapes and indie rock sensibilities to navigate the night, ponder the question "what is home?", and be understood by this world. Banti Buli makes his musical work tangible by collaborating with Boston-based and international artists, including Lil Strep, to produce limited run stationeries and art books.
