Jalyn Ramos (she/her), known as Popstar Paints, is a painter based in Boston, MA, specializing in acrylic works defined by vibrant, joyful color palettes. Originally from Florida, Jalyn began painting while navigating seasonal depression for the first time after relocating to Massachusetts 3 years ago. The absence of sunshine and vivid nature pushed her to seek new ways to bring color back into her daily life.  Popstar Paints was born as a way to make everyday life brighter for herself and others by spreading happiness and creativity, reminding people that the world can be as colorful as they make it. Popstar Paints treats art as an accessible and tangible source of joy.
