As a young girl, I would spend a lot of time drawing and painting.  Art was definitely my favorite subject in school - I just love creating and playing with color.  As a young busy mother of five children, I always found time to sew or paint.  I began with oils and a neighbor suggested I join her in a watercolor class taught by Carolyn Latanision, an amazing artist from Winchester, MA.  Once exposed to this medium, I just fell in love with watercolor and never looked back.  I enjoy the excitement and challenge of taking an empty piece of watercolor paper and bringing it through all the stages required to create a piece worthy of a frame!
